Diana Moirangthem of Manipur was selected for the Asia Youth International Model United Nation Conference, 2019. She was selected among the 35,000 more applicants from across the globe; 1500 delegates participated in the conference held from 25^th to 28^th August 2019, at Putrajaya International convention Centre, Malaysia. Diana is student of Desbhagat University, Punjab 9^th semester BA (LLB) and she delivered her speech on ‘The Involvement of Child Soldiers in War.’

Bipasha Hrangkhawl is Tripura’s first woman air traffic controller (ATC). She has been working at the Maharaj Bir Bikram Airport in Agartala for the past one year. Bipasha, 26, hails from Rangamura village, a distant tribal hamlet in Khowai district, 50 km from Agartala. She failed to clear the ATC examination in her first attempt in 2015 but cracked the exam in her second attempt.

Moirangthem Sunita bagged the best playback singer award in a competition held in commemoration of the 39^th death anniversary of renowned singer, Mohammad Rafi, which was organised by Mohammad Rafi Memorial Society in Amritsar, Punjab. She is currently employed as a music teacher at Delhi Public School in Sonipat, Haryana. She is an approved artist of All India Radio, Imphal, Doordarshan Kendra, Imphal, and Delhi Doordarshan Kendra. She is resident of Khangabok Sorok Wangma village in Thoubal district of Manipur.

Lovlina Borgohain from Assam bagged gold medal at the Magomed Salam Umakhanov Memorial International Boxing Tournament in in 69 kg category at Kaspiysk, Russia. Hailing from Golaghat district of Assam, she won a silver medal at the 2nd India Open International Boxing Tournament held in Guwahati in May 2019.

Valentine Elangbam, a 9-year-old girl from Manipur, was appointed as the brand ambassador for the chief minister’s green Manipur mission. She was seen weeping profusely in a viral video after two trees were cut down that she had planted. She is a class 5^th student of Amutombi Divine Life School in Hiyanglam Wabagai of Kakching district.

Bemthoi Ahongbam Chanu from Cachar district of Assam is working as Assistant Commissioner and Executive Magistrate in Bokajan sub-division of Karbi Anglong district. Recently, she trended on social media with netizens lauding her when she along with police personnel inspected various shops, which are located nearby or within a radius of 100m from any educational institutions.  As per 'The Cigarettes and Other Tobacco Products Act, 2003' there is prohibition on sale of cigarette or other tobacco products to a person below the age of 18 years and in particular area.
